WorkIT welcomed Dr. Susanne Lavery, Ph.D., to share information about light sensitivity and print distortions, including how they can affect reading, visual comfort, learning, and productivity.

As a screener with the Irlen Institute, Dr. Lavery shared examples of how these challenges can appear and demonstrated ways to recognize and support people who experience them.

Members discussed the topic’s relevance for students and people with different learning and visual needs. WorkIT thanks Dr. Lavery for sharing practical knowledge with the community.
